Trusting Before We See the Miracle

In the quiet moments of waiting, when the outcome is yet unseen, its our faith that carries us through.

Inspired by the story of Mary at the wedding in Cana, we explore the wisdom of trusting Jesus before the miracle happens.

Trusting…

Before We See the Miracle

The Faith of Mary

Mary's belief in Jesus, even before she knew how He would respond, teaches us something really important about faith. Her words, "Whatever he tells you, do it," were spoken not after the miracle, but before. These words, despite the uncertainty of it all, is an invitation for us to trust in Jesus during our own seasons of waiting.

The Waiting Place

We often find ourselves in the "in-between"... a space where promises are spoken, but the fulfillment of that promise hasn't happened yet. This is what faith actually looks like. It's stepping out, trusting God, even when we can't see the plan ahead. Like the servants at Cana, we are called to act in faith, filling our jars to the brim, trusting that transformation will come in God's perfect timing.

As we walk through all the things that feel so uncertain in this world, I am so thankful for the promise that we never have to do that alone. You can trust Him, friend. And you can speak that faith out loud, being confident that Jesus is faithful.

pray with me

Lord, teach us to trust You before we see the answer, to respond before the miracle happens, and to stay near to You in the waiting. May our faith speak boldly in the silence, just as Mary's did.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
